Welcome to Coast Helicopter College
Coast Helicopter College is owned and operated by Bob Reimer, the former chief pilot of
Vancouver Island Helicopters, a 17,000 hour pilot and a Transport Canada Designated Flight Examiner.
Coast Helicopter College trains private and commercial helicopter pilots. Flying helicopters is a
challenging, exciting and rewarding career, however before making your final decision on a career as a
helicopter pilot, we suggest that you read our helicopter career guide.
Our training base is located at Victoria International Airport, near Sidney BC. Our location offers
one of the best training environments in Canada. The experience of one of Canada's busiest international
airports as well as close proximity to bush area landing sites, mountainous terrain and the challenges of
coastal weather.
